A type of alchoholic bevarage unique to Japan, produced from rice, water and a special type of malt known as “KOJI” Sake can be devided into 4 main flavor categories.
About Japanese Sake - 2
Sake can also be categorized into either “Junmai Sake” type or “Honjozo Sake” type with the addition of distilled alcohol, as well as into different grades depending on the rice polishing ratio.
About Warm Sake
Japanese sake can be enjoyed from chilled to hot, and there is no other alcoholic bevarage that can be enjoyed in such wide range of temperature.
